When the original RP2040 raised the bar for affordable microcontrollers, the Raspberry Pi RP2350 raised it again. The Seeed Studio XIAO RP2350 brings this next-generation chip to the XIAO form factor. It packs a significantly faster processor, enhanced security, and expanded I/O into the same tiny 21 x 17.8 mm footprint.
At the heart of this board is the RP2350 chip, offering a unique switchable dual-architecture, you can run on either the dual Arm Cortex-M33 cores at 150 MHz (with hardware floating point support), or switch to the open-hardware dual Hazard3 RISC-V cores. This flexibility makes it a genuinely compelling platform for developers who want to experiment with both architectures.
Compared to the RP2040, the RP2350 adds hardware security features, a larger GPIO count (19 multifunction GPIOs), an onboard RGB LED, and an improved Battery Management System with direct battery voltage measurement. It's fully compatible with the Seeed Studio XIAO ecosystem, all your existing expansion boards and Grove modules work seamlessly.
