Do I need an account to place an order?
No account is required. You're welcome to check out as a guest. Creating an account is optional and simply makes reordering and tracking easier.
How do I request a quote?
Visit our Request a Quote page. Search our catalogue for items we stock, or add custom items you'd like us to source, set your quantities, and submit. Our team will prepare a single, competitive quote and email it to you.
How quickly will I receive my quote?
We aim to respond to quote requests within 1 to 2 business days. For custom or hard-to-find items, we'll confirm availability and pricing as soon as we hear back from our suppliers.
Is there a minimum order to request a quote?
No. We support all orders, large or small, with no minimum.
Products & Sourcing
What products do you supply?
We supply hand tools and workshop equipment, test and measurement equipment, electronics kits and components, 3D printers and accessories, makerspace machinery such as laser cutters and CNC machines, soldering equipment, development boards, cables and consumables, and more.
Can you source items that aren't listed on your website?
Yes. Sourcing is one of our core services. Add a description and, if you have one, a web link on our Request a Quote page, and we'll track it down for you. There's no need to contact multiple suppliers yourself.
How long does it take to source a custom item?
It depends on the item and supplier availability, but we work to your timelines. Let us know your deadline and we'll do our best to meet it.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship to?
We ship across Australia and internationally. For full details, see our Shipping Policy.
How much does shipping cost?
Orders over $175 qualify for flat rate shipping Australia-wide (T&Cs apply). For other orders, and for international deliveries, live shipping rates are calculated and displayed in your cart and at checkout. Please note that flat rate shipping may not apply to large or custom orders. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
How quickly are orders dispatched and delivered?
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours of being placed (orders on weekends or NSW public holidays are dispatched the next business day). Delivery is typically 1 to 3 business days via Express and 2 to 7 business days via Standard, based on carrier estimates. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Can you ship batteries and hazardous materials?
Yes. We ship products containing batteries (including lithium cells) and other dangerous goods in compliance with Australian and international shipping regulations. Some restrictions or surcharges may apply, particularly for air freight and international shipments.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer, credit card and cash. Invoice terms are also available on approval for eligible schools and businesses. Just get in touch or note this in your quote request and we'll help you get set up.
Returns & Warranty
What is your returns policy?
You may return eligible items within 14 days. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, and you'll need proof of purchase. Some goods (including hazardous materials) are non-returnable. Full details are in our Returns Policy.
How do I return an item?
Provide your receipt or proof of purchase and mail the product to PO BOX 320, Hoxton Park, NSW, 2171, Australia. Once received and inspected, we'll email you about the approval of your refund. See our Returns Policy for full details.
Are products covered by warranty?
Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. If you have an issue with an item, get in touch and we'll help you resolve it.
