The original XIAO ESP32-S3 was already a powerhouse, a 240 MHz dual-core processor, Wi-Fi, BLE 5.0 and deep sleep down to 14µA in one tiny board. The XIAO ESP32-S3 Plus takes everything that made it great and adds what professional projects demand: more I/O.
The Plus variant adds 9 extra GPIO pins via redesigned SMD castellations and a new pad layout on the back of the board, bringing the total to 20 GPIOs. These extra pins are specifically designed for advanced Bluetooth and IoT builds where the standard XIAO pin count isn't enough, and they're accessible via 1.27 mm pitch SMD soldering, making this the ideal board for board-to-board integration in custom PCB designs.
Everything else you love about the ESP32-S3 stays: 8MB PSRAM and 16MB Flash, a 2.4GHz rod antenna for 100m+ range, ultra-low deep sleep at just 14µA, lithium battery charging management, and full compatibility with the XIAO expansion ecosystem. It's compatible with Arduino, MicroPython, and ESP-IDF.
