Description

This has been replaced with the new Engineer SS-03 High Power Solder Sucker.

Looking for a fancy, high power, solder sucker to replace your plastic one? Look no further! The Engineer SS-02 High Power Solder Sucker is a beautifully made solder sucker that will make you wonder why you never had this before. We have been using it for a long time at the K & A Electronics workshop and it is hands down amazing and reliable. What makes it so good? Firstly, the silicone tip makes sucking up liquid solder a breeze, and the aluminium body is sturdy and comfortable to use.

To use it, depress the end to engage the vacuum. Then using your soldering iron, heat up the to-be-desoldered joint until the solder is liquid. With your other hand hold the silicone tip as close as possible to the joint and depress the button to suck up all the liquid solder. If necessary, clean up the remaining solder with wick. You will be amazed at how good this is.

  • Soldering point can be covered with the elastic silicone nozzle, suck up melted solder efficiently with less residue.
  • Withstand direct contact with soldering iron tip (max. 350℃)
  • Compact design made of aluminum body allows one handed operation.
  • Comes with 1 piece of 50 mm spare silicone tube (free-cut type)
  • Made in Japan

Well worth the money

Operates exactly as expected. Nice and small, with a satisfying pump action. Feels well built, and the tube on the tip can tolerate a good amount of heat before giving up.

Very happy with this tool, easy to use and very effective for desoldering, especially for through hole components where the great suction from this thing can slurp up a ton of solder in the blink of an eye! Way better than solder wick, and reusable.
